McCauley's Point

At the southern end of Donegal Bay is McCauley's Point, which receives its name from Owen McCauley, a pound-netter fisherman, who bought this land from James Dunlevy in 1882.  This is sometimes referred to as "Barney's Landing" also.  A small sign designates a sandy trail leading down to the beach.  It is part of the Port St. James subdivision area.
