This road, named after Tom Hannigan Boyle, cuts across the island at the point.
It's center section is where the King's Highway (the road down the center of the
island) ends. Beaver Island roads are nothing like mainland roads. This
picture of the Hannigan Road is what a typical road on Beaver Island looks like.
