Directly across from the ferry dock is the Harbor View Motel. This is the only motel on the island that offers the visitors a heated swimming pool if they don't wish to swim in Lake Michigan. From the courtyard area and the pool guests have a straight view out the mouth of the harbor and everything is within walking distance.
