Right on the edge of the harbor, near the ferry dock, is the Beaver Boat-tique Gift Shop. Here's where you can buy clothing, bird feeders, books, jewelry, art work and of course, Beanie Babies.
At the check-out counter is a map that shows where customers have traveled from to reach the island... literally from all over the globe. This building was built for a land development company who made quite an impact on the island in the 1960's. After American Central left, it became a private home/gift shop for many years and then changed hands and became the Boat-tique.
